A recent media statement by the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) has criticised private businesses that mislead the public that they are affiliated with the FWO or other government agencies. The statement names two workplace advisory services that have been reported to Fair Work as well as the Ombudsman’s intent “…to take appropriate steps to prevent further misrepresentations likely to mislead consumers.”

What you’re seeking is someone with genuine HR management level experience who can offer solutions to your specific challenges as well as adding value to your business…and produce results in a period of time you’re happy with.
Do your homework. Use the free consultation services most Consultants offer; ask as many questions as you like, be comfortable they speak your language and take the time to answer you honestly. Ask to see some evidence of their processes and, if at any time you feel it’s not quite right, simply walk away…you’re the customer and there are some great HR Consultants out there if you take the time to sift through the others.
